Well the reasons are quite simple, I need to work on my balance (because snowboarding and volleyball), I need to become stronger without doing dumb stuff (lifting heavy objects without a purpose) and I love learning new things.

With Calisthenics I do all of that. I’m learning new balance skills by lifting a useful heavy object, named myself. Although it might become less heavy because of me lifting myself.

Plus I want to learn the limits of the instrument I use for nearly everything, my body. So far it hasn’t bored me for a second. I can stop and do it any and everywhere. Like during a 10k run. I might even go and do it this summer during my lunch break (I just thought of that).

In any case… I’m going to do this. I’ll let you know how it goes.
